"A Change Is Gonna Come "is a American protest song which tells  the struggle of Sam Cooke as an African man  growing up in a racist society.

6. GUNS'N ROSES - CIVIL WAR

Civil war is a song about the sociopolitical situation in the United States.

5. USA FOR AFRICA - WE ARE THE WORLD

The whole song has the same objective , this song aims to convey a message of unity in brotherhood, solidarity help our fellows even though we are of different color.
This should be done by the simple fact that we are alive and  living in the same world, this is why we have to help each other.
Human beings interact and the best way to do that is communicating through love, affinity and solidarity to identify best among us and grow by learning from each other .

4. FOUR NON BLONDES - WHAT'S GOING ON ?

What's going on? "Tells the story of a 25-year-old man who did not understand what  his role in the world was.
The song begins explaining that he gets up every morning in order to continue on his way and find a direction to take his life.

3. JOHN LENNON - IMAGINE

This song was written during  one of the most turbulent times in history, the conflict in Vietnam. The United States were waging a war that was not theirs, in consequence they left  thousands of innocent people killed on the road. John Lennon cared for peace and wanted all the conflicts to end soon.
The song expresses the patience, hope and concern for humanity in general.

2. BILLIE HOLIDAY - STRANGE FRUIT

This sad song is about the struggle for racial equality in America.
The lyrics refer to the lynchings that occurred in the south of the United States. The bodies of blacks hanging from trees are the "strange fruit" that Billie Holiday sings using metaphors.

1. BOB DYLAN - BLOWIN' IN THE WIND

Bob Dylan wants to reflect what he sees in society through the lyrics.
According to the song, we can see that he talks about  peace, war and freedom in the world. This is because in the 60‟s, Vietnam was at war and the USA was having problems with civil rights. For this reason, The USA military began flying combat missions and accompany South Vietnamese soldiers in ground operations to find and defeat the insurgents.This fact, caused many deaths of young women and children as well as men.
